Mixed Media Work

The Origins of Fly Fishing according to
Ken Iwamasa And Buddha

This body of work ( 6 pieces ) tries to explain, and elaborate on, how Ken Iwamasa got involved with fly fishing. Most men and women can blame their parents, especially their fathers for introducing them to fishing, and so can Ken.  He was born in a concentration camp, Manzanar, CA and grew as a Buddhist, so there are images of that camp, his father, the family crest and Buddha,  and all the other lures, flies, photo’s, friendships, humor, bull and  great stories  – stuff one collects as an angler.

Prices are available upon request

Other mixed media, oil paintings  on the theme of trout or trout fishing, as well as Ken’s trout flies  are available at Michael D. Clark’s  www.southcreekltd.com
